    Lackawanna RR Station in Binghamton, NY. Just visible to the right is the Marconi Tower. This was erected by Guglielmo Marconi in 1913 to test the feasability of transmitting telegraphic signals to moving trains along the Lackawanna RR.

    The backside of the Lackawanna station. Erected in 1900, it is presently occupied by several small businesses, including a daycare center.

    The Lackawanna freight station was across the tracks from the passenger station, here photographed in the late 1990's. It has since been torn down.

    At major crossings, small structures were built so that watchmen would have a place to get out of the weather. This restored structure is in Oxford.
